A range of free learning resources inspired by our collections. Suitable for use in formal learning settings or just for fun!

Young Adults

From help with research for your school, college or degree project, to ideas about careers and ways to get involved at the Museum.

Informal learning for kids

Learning is great fun! We offer a range of informal learning opportunities including covid-secure experiences such as click and collect activity packs or virtual parties.

Toddlers and young children

Our museum is for all ages! We can offer sessions for your play group or nursery as well as events during the week for mums and toddlers.

Informal learning for adults

From loan box hire and outreach visits to your group or venue, to covid-secure activity packs and virtual parties for grown ups.

S.E.N.D schools and groups

We welcome pupils of all ages and abilities to participate in interactive sessions which can be adapted to suit the specific learning needs of your group.

Learning and outreach services for schools

Choose from a range of taught sessions delivered either at your school or in the Museum. Covid-secure  and online options available. We also offer  a large range of loan boxes.

Our loan boxes are available to everyone. We have a large range covering lots of different topics.
